Easy Setup
Device installation and activation through NFC can be done in under 2 minutes ensuring quick and effortless onboarding. Once set up, the Crossmodal device provides real-time updates of location, utilization and sensor readings as often as every 5 minutes.

Crossmodal devices are equipped with high performance solar panels, ensuring that devices remain operational at all times. Together with adaptive power-saving and a battery management mechanism Nexxiot guarantees maintenance free operations for 6 years.

All devices are designed and engineered in-house at our Zurich office in Switzerland. To ensure the highest standards in quality and complete provenance for each step of the production process, the manufacturing itself is also done in an ISO and ATEX Certified facility in Europe.

Cellular Modem & GNSS Chipset
Connectivity to 2G/3G or 4G networks enables world-wide coverage for communicating the asset data back to headquarters. A State-of-the-art GNSS chipset allows Crossmodal devices to perform accurate geopositioning using any of the GPS, Galileo, Glonass or BeiDou satellite constellations.
If at any point in time devices lose connectivity to the cloud (for example going through a rural forest), they will automatically store any record internally for up to 30 days. Once connectivity has been restored, all pending data will be sent directly to the server.
State-of-the-Art Encryption
All communications are secured using state of the art, military grade encryption with unique key for each device. The most powerful supercomputer in the world would take 885 quadrillion years to crack the access key. Nexxiot monitors all communications and if an entry attempt is detected, a new key can be issued remotely at any time.
High Resolution Shock Measurement
Built-in 3-axis accelerometer measures and records shock curves in 3 dimensions. This allows to collect and report high-resolution shock data for later analysis. Get instant visibility on your asset handling quality.
