Our unique Kingpin Monitor is a complete and integrated solution designed to support the safe loading of semi-trailers on to railcars.
Set up takes less than 60 minutes, and only minor modifications to the railcar are needed. After that, safety status can be easily monitored by field operators – or remotely through Nexxiot’s Connect Intelligent Cloud.

Mounting
1. Kingpin Sensor
Detects if the kingpin of a trailer is securely engaged inside the railcar hitch using a custom designed inductive sensor and a reed contact.
2. Status Display
The high visibility Kingpin display shows the Kingpin and Lock engagement status through brightly coloured LEDs.
